I’m delighted to share my
healing testimony with the body of Christ, to encourage every Christian to
partake in the Holy Communion in faith, especially, those that may have health
issues or any other life’s challenge.
A couple of years ago, I was
diagnosed with a heavy growth on my cervix, even though I didn’t feel any pain
or heaviness in my body. My family doctor then, referred me to one of the best gynecologists
at Toronto General Hospital. I never knew she sent me there for a day’s surgery,
to remove the growth. On the day of my appointment, I went to see the doctor,
and after her examining me, she showed me the huge growth on the screen of the
medical equipment she was using on me. I wondered, how manage this is in my
body? How did it come about? The doctor told me that I was to undergo a one-day
surgery same day, to remove the deadly growth, otherwise it would continue to
grow and may develop to cancer of the cervix.
I thought over her advice
and declined the surgery outright, because none of my family members knew where
I was at that time, surgery sounds scary to me, and I never expected that my
visit would end up in the theater. She discharged me and told me to come back
when I’m ready for the surgery. I left the hospital sad, concerned and thinking
whether to come back or not, based on what the doctor said, that it would
continue to grow if I didn’t remove it. As I was faced with this challenge, I
then started to recount and remind myself the instances I had received divine
healing, and how God had miraculously healed people through my prayers. More so,
the authority the Lord Jesus Christ has vested in us as children of the Living
God.
When I reached home, I prayed to
God about the growth, and standing on the authentic and infallible word of God
in the scriptures, particularly the healing promises in the Bible. I prayed
with these scriptures below (in King James Authorized Version) and others.
Isaiah 40:24.
“Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock
shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they
shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble”.
Mathew
15:13.”……..Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be
rooted up.”
Luke 17:6. “And
the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto
this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the
sea; and it should obey you”.
I continued trusting God
for my healing, and also took nutritional supplements I know could help me. The
next year, I went for my annual medical check-up at another clinic, this time
it was another female doctor who examined me, and I asked her if there was any
growth on my cervix, she answered “yes”, that it was a little, and no cause for
alarm. However, she referred me to a laboratory for further test. With the good
news I received from her, I didn’t border again to go for the test. I believed
in my heart that God would perfect the good work he had started in my health.
The Lord ministered to my
heart to take the Holy Communion more seriously concerning the growth. The Holy
Communion at Islington Evangel Center (IEC) every last Sunday of the month was
an occasion I wouldn’t like to miss. I participated at communion table in faith
for my healing. I read the scriptures on the symbols (the bread and wine), and
pondered on the significance of the Holy Communion to strengthen my faith the
more. On a particular day, as I was reading my daily devotional
literature-“Open Heavens”, written by Pastor E. Adeboye, the General Overseer of
the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG). He shared deep insights on the Holy
Communion, which inspired me and confirmed to me what God had ministered to me
before. I observed that he repeated the message of the Holy Communion twice in
the series, and I believed his prophecy, that “next time as you take the Holy
Communion, whatever problem you may have would be gone”. I believed
the prayers offered on the Holy Communion bread and wine, that the bread is the
symbol of the body of Jesus Christ which was stripped for our healing (Isaiah
53:5, 1Peter 2:24), and the red wine, a symbol of his precious blood which he shed
on the cross for the remission of our sins, and we overcame him (Satan) by the
blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony(Revelation 12:11). I
continued reading and meditating on God’s word on the Holy Communion to
continue renewing my mind and strengthening my faith for total healing. I
appropriated the healing power in the body and the blood of Jesus Christ, and
also continued taking part in Holy Communion at IEC. In the next year’s medical check-up,
I was sent to do X-ray and the result read “NO GROWTH”. Praise God! The growth
was gone. It’s gone and gone forever! Glory to God, it’s no more there.
I thank the Lord Jesus Christ,
and give God the glory for healing me of cervical growth (tumor). I thank the
IEC for providing the Holy Communion every month for our benefit. There is
power in the Holy Communion, tap into it and be healed of any sickness or
disease, including blood diseases. As you take the Holy Communion next time,
take it in faith and you will receive your divine healing miracle. God bless you for
